Mind The Hack Deepens Its Offensive Security Research Practice
Research is part of how Mind The Hack builds. The company continues to invest in the offensive research that feeds the platform: vulnerability research, exploitability analysis, attack-path reasoning, and responsible disclosure.
The announcement
Mind The Hack is deepening the offensive security research practice behind the platform. The team studies and reproduces the tradecraft real attackers use, from initial access to lateral movement, and publishes defensive write-ups so the wider community can learn from what it finds.
When research uncovers a previously unknown flaw in a third-party product, the team follows a coordinated disclosure process: notifying the affected vendor privately, allowing reasonable time to remediate, and publishing only defensive detail. General methodology and vulnerability-class research appears in the Security Research hub as it is cleared for release.
Why it matters
The research is what keeps validation honest. Because the platform tests the way attackers actually operate, customers get proof grounded in current tradecraft rather than in a static checklist. Investing in the research practice is investing directly in the quality of every assessment the platform runs.
Research is not a side project for us. It is where the platform’s understanding of what attackers can do actually comes from.
